Lógica formal y argumentación
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper critically explores the thesis according to which contemporary deductive formal logic supplies methods and instruments for a theory of evaluation for natural language arguments. In this paper it is argued that deductive formal logic can only be applied to natural language arguments using what it is supposed to explain, i.e. The speakers' pretheoretical intuitions about logical implication relations between sentences of those languages. Some pedagogical consequences are drawn from this standpoint.
