Ética del trabajo y ética de la acumulación en Locke
Main Article Content
Abstract
In this article I propose an interpretation from the ethical point of view of the lockean concept of private property, mainly developed in the fifth chapter of the Second Treatise of the Civil Goverment. On one hand, I point out that Locke is an early spokesperson of the labour ethics, to wich the appropiating activitiy is a prerogative and at the same time a duty of the human being; on the other hand, I remark the importance of the money as a key part of his incipient capitalism and I hold that the labour changes its meaning in the monetary economy, according to Locke's thought, becoming subordinated to what I call an accumulation ethic.
