Abstract

There are different periods in Russell's treatment of ethical issues. After maintaining an objetivist and intuitionist point of view about values,Russell developed an emotivist analysis, anticipating other later emotivist theories. This paper aims to survey his standpoint, its foundations and some of its consequences.
