David Hume y su adhesión inconsciente al escepticismo pirrónico
Main Article Content
Abstract
Hume has been considered a mitigated sceptic by himself and by most of his interpreters. Nevertheless, the distinction made by the philosopher between pyrrhonian and academic scepticism is not at all correct. The objective of this work is to show that Hume's sceptic-naturalist philosophy perhaps is not as removed from authentic pirrhonism as the author said. In this sense, we will try to see if the 'mitigated' scepticism of Scottish philosopher does not hide certain unconscious pirrhonism, indicating that the key for such a possibility could be found in the outcome of Hume's scepticism: 'the cure by nature'
