Abstract

In this paper I propose to rethink a problem that has been constitutive of the modernity: how to conceive the representation, so much artistic as politics, in a world that has left behind any possibility of representation. To such purposes, I will analyze some of the principal perspectives relative to matters, in order to finally consider Walter Benjaminïs critique of the classic representation at his Trauerspiel book which is settled in notable tension with Carl Schmitt thought
